Oscars

Films from Belgique, Canada, Poland,Country and Persia are competing for the Institution Awarding for first foreign language film.

Bullhead, by Belgium's Archangel R. Roskam, Write by Land's Carpenter Cedar and In Darkness by Polska's Agnieszka Holland are among nominees declared Tuesday at the Los Angeles office of the Establishment of Motion Illustration Study and Sciences.

They are competing against Man Lazhar, from Canada's Philippe Falardeau and "A Change," from Persian writer-director Asghar Farhadi, which has already won the Metallic Sphere for first abroad faculty wrapper.

Winners of the 84th period Oscars module be declared at a Feb. 26 commencement at Screenland's Kodak Building.
